i write paintings

THE NIGHT BEFORE
we haven’t really spoken
since the revolution happened there
but we danced so hard the night before
wasted we just watched the world burn
I remember this so well
right in front of our eyes
and every time i speak about that
i have to paint myself another scar
we thought it was a welcome party
the new order was to come
but in fact we said goodbye
to ourselves from good old times
and now i really love my life
cause it’s my own lie
wrestling with the fists of time
i just get another punch…
